One Dead in Shooting Near McDonald’s on Lohman Avenue in Las Cruces

Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred near a McDonald’s restaurant on Lohman Avenue close to the Best Buy area in Las Cruces, leaving one person dead.

Police responded to the scene following reports of gunfire in the busy commercial corridor. When officers arrived, they found one individual suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite emergency response efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
